In the morning of January 30, 2020 (January 6, Year of the Rat), Viglacera Corporation - JSC (Viglacera) held the Groundbreaking Ceremony of Yen Phong II-C Industrial Park and New Year Tree Planting 2020.

Attending the ceremony were: Mr. Pham Hong Ha, Member of the Central Party Committee, Minister of Construction; Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chien, Member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Bac Ninh province; Mr. Nguyen Van Sinh, Deputy Minister of Construction; Mrs. Nguyen Huong Giang, Deputy Provincial Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, National Assembly Delegation of Bac Ninh province; representatives of departments and branches of Bac Ninh province; leaders of Viglacera and domestic and international invited guests.

Yen Phong II-C Industrial Park has a scale of 221ha in Yen Phong district, Bac Ninh province with a total investment of VND 2,234 billion, its investment policy was approved by the Prime Minister at the Decision No. 1139/QD-TTg dated September 11, 2018. This industrial park has a convenient geographical position, near to the important traffic junctions such as National highway 18, National highway 1A, Hanoi - Thai Nguyen Expressway, very convenient to Noi Bai International Airport, to Hai Phong seaport, Cai Lan seaport - Quang Ninh... This will be the place to focus on attracting multidisciplinary investment, mainly processing, manufacturing and high technology industries based on the criteria “3 high, 2 few”: High technology, high investment capital, high budget contribution and use few land, few labor.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Huong Giang emphasized: In the recent years, the socio-economic situation of Bac Ninh has achieved outstanding achievements, with many criteria ranked in the top of the whole country such as: Industrial production value, import-export turnover, scale of economy, FDI attraction, budget collection, etc. This achievement has the significant contribution of Viglacera with the effective construction and operation of industrial parks in Bac Ninh. The commencement of Yen Phong II-C Industrial Park, scheduled to be completed in 2023, is particularly important in welcoming waves of investment in Bac Ninh, creating a new motivation for industrial development of Bac Ninh province, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee requested the investor, the project management unit, consulting and construction contractors to immediately organize the supervision, construction, ensure the project quality with the objective of: best quality, safest, fastest construction time so that Yen Phong II-C Industrial Park can go into operation as planned (putting 50% of the industrial park area into use in 2020). Request the departments, branches and Yen Phong district to create all most favorable conditions for the enterprises to complete the project early on schedule. At the same time, speeding up the site clearance of the remaining area, focusing on supervising and speeding up and building the infrastructure inside and outside the fence of the Industrial parks; intensifying the improvement of investment environment, solving the difficulties for the enterprises in accordance with the orientation of the province.

Congratulations on the achievements that Bac Ninh has achieved, the Minister of Construction Pham Hong Ha affirmed: The success of Viglacera has the support, creation of favorable conditions from the leaders of Bac Ninh province. On the other hand, the development of Viglacera also contributes positively to the change of local economy and society. After the groundbreaking ceremony, it is expected to continue to receive more attention and create more favorable conditions from the provincial leaders for Vigalacera in general and the industrial parks invested by Vigalacera in Bac Ninh to operate effectively. The Minister also requested the enterprise to deploy the infrastructure items to ensure on schedule and quality and to implement in accordance with the commitments with the locality in industrial development, pay special attention to environmental protection, social security, make a positive contribution to the implementation of socio-economic development tasks of Bac Ninh in the following years.

On this occasion, Viglacera organized the inauguration of the social housing area for the workers and launched New Year tree planting 2020. The social housing area is a complex of multifunctional works including: 01 Primary School (scale of 15 classrooms), 01 Kindergarten (scale of 12 classrooms), 01 Cultural house (simultaneously serving about 1,000 people), 01 Medical station and green park, gym and sports area, 4,749 apartments for the workers and 108 apartments for experts were invested and constructed on a land area of 17,000m2.
