Provincial leaders awarded Certificates of merit to the individuals with achievements of Samsung Complex Vietnam

Attending the meeting were: Mrs. Dao Hong Lan, Member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly; Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mrs. Nguyen Huong Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Central Party Committee, Standing Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of some related Departments and branches.

On the side of Samsung Complex Vietnam, Mr. Choi Joo Ho, General Director and leaders of Samsung Complex Vietnam and leading representatives of Samsung Complex’s factories in Bac Ninh.

At the meeting, General Director Choi Joo Ho expressed his pleasure and sincerely thanked the leaders of Bac Ninh province for holding the meeting, commending and rewarding the enterprises. At the same time, shared, after more than 10 years of investment in Bac Ninh, the past time has been a very difficult period for Samsung due to the influence of the 4th wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, but with timely and effective assistance of the Government and Bac Ninh province, it has helped the enterprise to maintain, recover the production, especially its production chain has not been broken, interrupted.

Affirming that Bac Ninh and Samsung are close and attached friends, the General Director of Samsung Vietnam committed to continue strictly complying with the pandemic prevention and control measures of the Central government and locality authority to overcome difficulties and obtain the best results, contribute to the development of the locality. In order that the production chain is always guaranteed and uninterrupted, Samsung Complex Vietnam hopes that Bac Ninh province will continue to pay attention and support in all production and business activities as well as pandemic prevention and control. In the short term, speeding up the signing progress of the memorandum of understanding between Samsung Complex Vietnam and 3 provinces: Bac Ninh, Bac Giang and Vinh Phuc, as a basis for replication to other provinces and cities in the region.

In an intimate and open atmosphere, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dao Hong Lan expressed her pleasure to meet and welcome the leaders of Samsung Complex Vietnam and representatives of Samsung’s factories in Bac Ninh. Since Samsung chose Bac Ninh as an investment destination, the generations of provincial leaders have always determined the local responsibility for all activities of the enterprise, the success of enterprises is also the success of the province. During the past months, Bac Ninh and the business community, especially Samsung Vietnam have overcome the most difficult journey to control the pandemic, bring the activities back to new normal state. 

Pleased with the results obtained by Samsung Vietnam in the first 9 months of 2021, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee affirmed that the contributions of Samsung Vietnam and the enterprises in the province have contributed to the growth rate of Bac Ninh at a high level compared to other provinces and cities in the whole country; the living conditions of workers, employees are stable. In the coming time, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee wishes that the business community in the province, especially Samsung Vietnam, continue to promote the production and business, look after the workers’ living conditions and perform well the social security activities in the province. Bac Ninh committed to always accompany, share and provide maximum assistance to the enterprises to improve the production and business efficiency and have long-term investment in the province.

On this occasion, 05 individuals of Samsung Complex Vietnam with achievements in the pandemic prevention and control and socio-economic development of Bac Ninh province had honor to receive the Certificates of merit from the Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee.
