Investment in Bac Ninh industrial zones
In the first quarter, the Provincial Industrial Zones
Authority issued 32 new Investment certificates, with a total newly registered
investment capital of 290.52 million USD. In which, 26 Investment registration
certificates for 20 FDI projects with a capital of 237.77 million USD and 6
domestic projects with a capital of 1,213.15 billion VND, equivalent to 52.75
million USD.
Along with the issue of new Investment registration certificates,
the Authority has also issued for adjustment of 78 projects, including 66 FDI
projects and 12 domestic projects, with a total increased adjusted capital of
74.94 million USD. In which, there are 15 FDI projects with the increased capital
of 69.44 million USD, 3 domestic projects with total increased investment
capital of 1,590.57 billion VND equivalent to 69.16 million USD and 1 FDI project
with the reduced capital of 63.66 million USD.
Thus, the total investment capital in Bac Ninh industrial
zones from the beginning of the year to now has reached 365.46 million USD (FDI
projects 243.55 million USD; domestic projects 2,803.72 billion VND equivalent
to 121.9 million USD). In addition, in the first quarter, issued for adjustment
of 1 industrial zone infrastructure project with a total increased investment
capital of 1,180.37 VND billion, equivalent to 51.32 million USD.
Registration for
establishment of new enterprises
In the first 3 months of the
year, the whole province had 576 newly established enterprises with a total
registered capital of 5,746 billion VND, compared to the same period, increased
5.7% in number of enterprises and increased 40% in registered capital; the
average capital per newly established enterprise was 9.98 billion VND,
increased 54.2%.
Also in 03 months, the whole
province had 301 enterprises restarted; 820 enterprises registered to change
types of operation; 442 enterprises registered to suspend operation and 68
enterprises voluntarily dissolved.
Accumulated to this date,
the province has 18,230 enterprises that are operating with a total registered
charter capital of 280,525 billion VND; average registered capital per
enterprise is 15.4 billion VND. In which, the One-member company limited
accounts for the largest density of 55.5% with 10,121 enterprises, the total
registered charter capital is 109,148 billion VND.
In addition, 795 enterprises
temporarily suspend their business with a total registered capital of 4,347
billion VND.
Index of Industrial
Production
In March, the Index of
industrial production (IIP) increased very high (+34.9%) compared to the
previous month and increased slightly 1.1% compared to the same month last
year.
In which, the processing and
manufacturing industry increased by 35% and 1.1%; the distribution of
electricity, gas, hot water, steam and air conditioning increased by 5.4% and
2.8%; water supply, waste and wastewater management and treatment industry
increased 18.5% but decreased 3.5%.
In the manufacturing and
processing industry, the manufacturing industry of electronic products,
computers and optical products was the main industry with a high increase (+36.7%)
but a slight decrease (-0.2%). Generally, in the first quarter, IIP in the
province achieved a good increase (+9.2%) over the same period last year and
was the second consecutive year that the positive growth rate was achieved in
the first quarter of the year.
Import and export turnover
In the first quarter, the
total scale of export and import turnover was estimated at 18,624 million USD, increased
18.8% over the same period last year.
In the first three months of
2021, the export and import of goods in the province continued to reach the
highest level in the period 2017-2021, while also reached the highest level of
export surplus. The export turnover reached 10,149 million USD, increased 25.9%;
the export surplus was estimated at 1,674 million USD, increased 80.8%.
The two export items, which
accounted for the largest density, had a high increase over the same period
last year: Phones and components; computers and components.
In the general context and
situation in the world, the trading activities decline due to the epidemic and
tightening the tariff barriers, increasing the domestic protection..., the
positive growth in the export and import activities is also a good signal for
the province’s economy.
State budget
revenue
In the first quarter, the total state budget revenue in the
province reached more than 9,624 billion VND, reached 34.6% of the yearly
estimate, increased 5% over the same period last year.
In which, the domestic revenue was 7,958 billion VND (accounting
for nearly 82.7% of total revenue), reached 35.7% of the yearly estimate,
increased 5%. Some domestic revenues reached higher than estimated and
maintained a good increase over the same period last year, such as: Non-state
tax revenue 34.1%, increased 30.6%; collection of land use fees 47.8%, increased
49.4%; collection of fees and charges 36.1%, increased 19.3%...
For the budget expenditure, in the first quarter, the total
local budget expenditure reached 7,054 billion VND, equal to 37% of the yearly
estimate, increased 56.8% over the same period last year. The main reason is
that the development investment expenditures accounted for the main density of
73.6%, a high increase of 89.5% over the same period last year; recurrent
expenditure slightly increased by 5.7%. For the recurrent expenditure, the
local budget also gives priority to the key sectors and fields, such as: Expenditure
for education and training, expenditure for health care, ensuring the national
defense and security and protecting the environment…
