Attending the dialogue at the bridge point of the Center including: Mrs. Dao Hong Lan, Member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly; Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mrs. Nguyen Huong Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Central Party Committee, Standing Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the People's Council, the People's Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly; representative of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; relevant Departments and branches of the province.
Speaking
at the opening of the dialogue, the Chairwoman of the Provincial People's
Committee Nguyen Huong Giang emphasized that over the past time, the Covid-19
pandemic has spread at a rapid rate in the community and factories, requiring
the province to take many strict measures in order to protect people's health
and maintain the production and business activities of enterprises. In obtain
results in the production and business, which plays a very important role for
hundreds of thousands of workers in the province, “shared joys and sorrows, joined
efforts, consensus with the enterprises and Party committees and authorities to
overcome unprecedented challenges. Through the dialogue, the Chairwoman of the
Provincial People's Committee hopes that the provincial leaders and
Departments, branches will listen to suggestions, recommendations, share
thoughts, aspirations, difficulties and obstacles that the workers are
encountering so that the province can make timely directions and decisions to
look after the workers’ living conditions in a best way.
At
the dialogue, the leaders of the province and Departments, branches directly
answered nearly 30 questions, recommendations and proposals from the
localities, enterprises and workers about the following issues: Social
insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance debt state at some
enterprises; upgrading infrastructure in the industrial zones and traffic
routes, lighting systems; the implementation of Resolution No. 68 of the
Government and Decision No. 23 of the Prime Minister on providing assistance to
employees and employers; registration and support for vaccination against
Covid-19 for the workers at the enterprises; managing the charge collection
rates for Covid-19 test; ensuring the security and public order at the hostel
areas; having policies to support participation in social insurance for the
contract teachers; providing assistance to the workers’ children to study in
the non-public education institutions...
Speaking
at the conclusion of the dialogue, the Secretary of the Provincial Party
Committee Dao Hong Lan sincerely thanked for the consensus, efforts to overcome
difficulties and help from the enterprises and workers in the fight against the
Covid-19 pandemic in the past time. At the same time, she affirmed that the
enthusiastic opinions of the delegates at the dialogue have helped the
executive committee and authority to understand more deeply the difficulties
and challenges that the enterprises are facing.
The
Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also exchanged, clarified the
issues that the employees are concerned about and propose, and at the same
time, directed the branches, units and localities according to their functions
and tasks to acquire and quickly involve in dealing with the contents under
their competence, or advise, propose the superiors to promptly solve.
She
also emphasized that, in the face of complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic,
the enterprises, trade unions and employees need to strictly comply with the regulations
related to the pandemic prevention and control; ready to have response plans,
manage the workers’ data well, regularly update the pandemic situation to
proactively take appropriate measures; not to break the production chain,
create jobs and stable income for employees.
On
the side of the Provincial Labor Confederation, the Secretary of the Provincial
Party Committee suggested that it is necessary to further improve the sense of
responsibility, working methods to listen to the thoughts and aspirations of
the employees, coordinate to promptly solve the problems, protect the
legitimate rights and interests of the employees; create a safe and healthy
production environment, contribute the part to building a harmonious, stable
and progressive labor relations in the enterprises. Thereby, contribute to
promoting the socio-economic development and performing well the social
security activities.
On
this occasion, a typical outstanding trade unionist family had honor to receive
the Certificate of merit from Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. The
Provincial Labor Confederation awarded Certificates of merit to 20 families
representing 200 typical trade unionist families in the period 2016-2020.
Gave
350 gifts to the female Trade unionists with difficult circumstances and 92
gifts to the trade unionists’ children who overcome difficulties to study well
in the school year 2020-2021. Gave 50 gifts to the female trade unionists with
extremely difficult circumstances suffering from fatal diseases. Awarded 31
scholarships to the trade unionists’ children who have extremely difficult
circumstances, overcome difficulties to study well in the school year 2020-2021.
