Up to now, Bac Ninh’s industry has obtained the encouraging results, creating momentum for high-speed socio-economic development, the economy has completely shifted to industry, accounting for 76.5% of the economic structure of the province. The whole province has nearly 600 supporting industry enterprises that operate in the fields of electronics, mechanical engineering.... are participating in the supply chain. However, in the field of high-tech application and production of high-tech products, the localization rate is still low and the number of domestic participating enterprises is small. On the one hand, due to the weak financial capacity and low management level; On the other hand, the employees’ ability to receive, apply and research and develop high technology is still limited.

To promote the supporting industry in high-tech industries, the province continues to find breakthrough solutions in institution and business environment in order to better promote the existing foundation; review the sectorial planning, zoning planning in accordance with the Master planning on socio-economic development; apply information technology in urban management associated with trade and service development; manage closely and use effectively the natural resources, solve thoroughly the situation of environmental pollution, especially the environment of the industrial clusters and craft villages. Step up the investment attraction activities, prioritize and distribute the projects in 3 key industries in the direction that each industrial park has at least 2 - 3 large-scale projects with high capital investment and high-brand enterprises to spread and attract satellite enterprises.
