According to the document, the departments, branches, units and localities under their functions, tasks, direct and coordinate the implementation of the following tasks: Concentrating the resources for managing the occupational safety and health work including the area where the employees work without labor contracts, improving the working conditions in order to take after and protect the health, life of the employees in particular, of the people in general, contributing to stabilizing the society, promoting the sustainable economic development. Speed up the propaganda and raise awareness of the employers and employees on occupational safety and health. Publicly notify the serious violations in the occupational safety and health work on the mass media. Strengthen the implementation of special inspections on occupational safety and health, especially in the fields at high risk of occupational accidents such as mineral mining, stone mining, construction, management and use of machinery and equipment with strict requirements on occupational safety; publicly notify the serious violations in the occupational safety and health work on the mass media; strictly handle the violations of occupational safety; resolutely prosecute the serious accidents that cause death and injury to many people due to violation of standards and regulations on occupational safety and health (if any). Strictly manage the equipment with strict requirements on occupational safety (especially equipment that has a great impact on the society such as elevators, cranes, compressed air tanks,...). Arrange the resources for the specialized inspection of occupational safety and health under Article 89 of the Law on Occupational Safety and Health, the Decree No. 110/2017/ND-CP dated October 04, 2017 of the Government; organize the training and improvement of inspection and professional skills on occupational safety and health for the subjects of specialized inspection.
The

districts and towns. The Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs
shall preside over and coordinate with the relevant departments, branches and
units in monitoring, urging and proactively advising and implementing the measures
to improve the quality and efficiency of the State management on occupational
safety and health, contributing to prevention and reduction of occupational
accidents in the province.
